BU’s Center for Stuttering Therapy is holding a special event in two weeks welcoming Michael Kidd Gilchrist to speak and then for a meet and greet and has extended the invitation to our chapter! If you aren’t familiar, Michael Kidd Gilchrist is a person who stutters who played in the NBA from 2012 to 2020. He then started a stuttering non-profit, Change and Impact (https://changeandimpactinc.org/). This should be a really cool opportunity to hear from him about his story and the work he is doing.
