This month’s spotlight honors Marcus Peters!
Marcus is a 25 year old PWS born in London to two Nigerian parents. He is an avid traveler and has been to 8 different countries around the world. Marcus is a huge soccer enthusiast and you can catch him on any given night watching Arsenal. On weekends, you can find him on a mountain bike trail or being involved at his local church. In terms of his professional career, he works as an Information Systems Analyst at Conifer Health Solutions. And yes, he is a proud Texan!
Last July, Marcus joined the NSA to gain support in his journey towards the acceptance of his stuttering. Since becoming involved in the NSA, Marcus says he has seen his confidence grow in the workplace, has gained unique insight that he can share with other friends that stutter, and has taken steps to raise stuttering awareness in his community. Marcus says being a “member of the NSA has been a great experience, and I look forward to continuing to support a community that has supported me in my everyday life.”
