This past Saturday, September 24th, the Dallas Chapter of the National Stuttering Association held it’s monthly Chat and Chew social event, this time at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, and here’s a quick recap and photos.

We had twelve (and a half!) members in attendance, including a special appearance from Steven Kaufman, coming straight from Maryland to visit us.

Like a big Italian family, we shared a variety of pizzas, from a traditional Margherita to one of Grimaldi’s specialties called “The Don”, all of them cheesy and delicious. The conversations flowed from our chapter’s participation in a Tough Mudder race in a few weeks, to the upcoming Conference in Dallas in 2017. Steven told us about his love for Love Field airport in Dallas and the wonders of public transportation, adding that Dallas is one of the best cities in the country. We might be biased but we definitely agree with that!

It was another successful Chat and Chew for our chapter and we thank you all for your continuing support and attendance (in person or in spirit!). We will see you next Tuesday for our regular meeting!

Stutter on,

Dallas NSA
