Hello everyone,

On Saturday, the Dallas Chapter held it’s 2nd Annual Summer BBQ hosted generously by Bill Wade and family. It was a blur of bbq ribs, unlimited ice cream (yes, there was an ice cream truck parked in the backyard with unlimited malts/floats/shakes), and dodgeball that ensured a great time for all. 57 people of all ages in attendance to celebrate summer, swimming, and stuttering. It was a beautiful and sunny day, and with last year’s party setting the bar high– everybody was excited to have a great time.

The highlight of the day was an exciting dodgeball tournament, with people of all ages and sizes competing to be the last person standing.
The day ended with Sivan, one of our fearless co-leaders, sharing a moving, personal story about the power of the NSA. It is truly a blessing that we can meet like this, speak, and stutter openly without judgement. To practice speaking in that rare freedom is liberating. And unifying. Together, we are strong!
Those among us who were new, were encouraged to exchange contact information from the people they’ve met. We’re here for each other, so keep the connections going and strengthen them.
Thank you to the Wade family for hosting this gathering and giving us the chance to be together.
Till next time!
Stutter on,

Dallas NSA
