December brought the holidays to the Palm Beach TWST group. Thanks to Annie for the cookies and Gunnar for the cake pops. Gotta love the sugar!
As the Chapter Leader, I chose to review with the members the poster session recently presented at the ASHA convention in Denver. After all, the members of this TWST actually participated in the “Out of The Box Approach” to teaching graduate students. I wanted the students to know that the graduate students they lectured by Skype actually rated this teaching tool the highest of all used by the professor at the University of South Dakota. The new TWST members were brought up to date on just what this was all about.
Then more holiday celebrations followed. Wishing all of our members and friends a very happy holiday season. New and exciting things await our group in the New Year…just wait and see..
