There were six members in group this round, and these were Barry’s notes from the meeting as he led the group solo:

We had a special guest visit from a former VT member who now runs a NSA group in Duluth, Minnesota. He talked a lot about his trip east and we hope to set up a Skype with them at some point this winter/spring to connect the groups!

Another member read the opening statement and talked about his work at the UVM farm.

A former member talked about seeing the WCAX clip and decided to start coming back to group each meeting even though he lives about an hour away.

Members talked about common interests like mountain biking and Catamount Trails.

Barry talked about the benefits of becoming an Amigo—a person who stutters who gets free treatment as part of the Treatment of Stuttering course in the spring —  and several seemed interested for this coming class.

One member shared insights about the possibility of sometimes working on strategies during group, and she likes to set personal goals for voluntary stuttering each group.

Lots of good talking, so we ran over time at end!
