The Duluth Minnesota Chapter of the National Stuttering Association met on Wednesday, April 19th. There were seven people in attendance. We started off by discussing the documentary that we had hosted two weeks prior titled “The Way We Talk”. This documentary does an excellent job of showing the anxiety, worries, and emotional struggles that people who stutter go through.
We then discussed ways to increase membership for the next school year, including talking to freshman seminars and putting pamphlets at various speech centers.
We also watched and discussed two videos, including a video clip from SAY (The Stuttering Association for the Young).
