We had a great meeting in Duluth, MN last evening. Our attendance has been gradually increasing which is so gratifying after very low attendance for our initial few years. Last night we had 3 people who stutter along with a family member, a PCA of one of the attenders who reported stuttering in her childhood (lots of interesting discussion around her reported recovery at age 12!), and students from the graduate level stuttering class at UMD. We had lots of interesting discussion around topics of interest from the International Stuttering Awareness website as well as questions brought up by our attenders relevant to their life situations. A good time was had by all!
