At tonight’s meeting we played a game called “Fictionary” where you make up definitions of obscure words in order to fool the other players. It was a fun speaking exercise that allowed us to be creative with our made-up words! Our next activity was a “Team Resume.” This was a good team-builder and individual self-esteem builder in which we all took turns answering questions concerning education, hobbies, experiences, uniqueness, talents, etc. Everyone learned a lot about one another and were able to talk about what they are proud of about themselves. It was a good activity to focus on self-esteem rather than focus on stuttering, which is important for all of us.
