Speakers Michael Turner and Gael Hannan will talk about living with communication disorders, how they raise awareness, and how they have worked with professionals throughout their lives.
Michael Turner is a filmmaker and a person who stutters. He was awarded the 2015 Oregon Media Arts Fellowship for his feature documentary about his experiences with stuttering,

Gael Hannan is a renowned writer, humorist and public speaker on hearing loss issues. She grew up with a progressive hearing loss that is now severe-to-profound, and has been a hearing aid user for almost 40 years.
