The Palm Beach TWST met on Wednesday, August 5 for our monthly support meeting. We had a visit from one of our college students who was home for a couple of weeks. He spoke with the group about the challenges and new experiences of being a college student – and of being a college student who stutters. The group discussed goals for the new school year which is about to begin. It is unanimous – everyone in group despises the “ice breakers” teachers insist on using during the first few days of school. Guess we have some education to do?
