Please consider joining us for a Chat and Chew social event on Monday September 16th at Pinthouse Pizza (South Lamar location!).

These social events are a great way to get to know each other a little bit better in an informal atmosphere, and I hope you will consider joining us for a fun time!

Who: People who stutter or who have a special interest in stuttering, including SLPs, friends, family, partners.. all are welcome!
What: Lunch/Drinks!

When: September 16th, 2019 7:30PM – 9:00PM

Chat and Chews and other social events are an important part of our chapter, and we are happy to offer these opportunities for our community to connect and grow. Occasionally, with past events, we have run into situations where RSVPs have either come late, or not at all, and Jonathan and I have struggled in these situations to know what is best-on the one hand, we don’t want to cancel an event if folks are planning to come and have not RSVPed (which sometimes happens), and also do not want to show up ourselves and have no one else show up. To make sure social events work well for everyone involved, going forward, we will cancel the event on the morning of if we have not received any RSVPs. With all that being said, we would love to continue to offer these social events as part of our NSA Austin community, and I hope you will consider joining us if you are able. Please know that your presence in our community means a great deal, and we hope to see you all at a social events and/or chapter meeting soon!
