Hello everyone!
Last night the Dallas chapter of the National Stuttering Association hosted it’s monthly social event at Anvil Pub in Deep Ellum. It was a MASSIVE success on all fronts and we couldn’t be any happier. The conversation was flowing, the laughter was infectious, and the camaraderie showed by everybody in attendance was evident.
We had an impressive 34 people in attendance (shattering previous records by a long margin!) in a crowd that included PWS, SLPs, professors, students, significant others and even a few first timers.
Our Chat and Chews are an opportunity for us to take the “safe haven” of our meetings to the streets and advertise stuttering while having a great time, and it is fair to say this was exactly what we did.
