The Duluth Minnesota Chapter of the National Stuttering Association met on Wednesday, January 17th. We started off the meeting with introductions, and then talked about our group, it’s history and purpose, and the personal benefits that we’ve experienced from attending.  We also brainstormed a couple ways to advertise our group, such as putting listings in local community groups online and replenishing some of the fliers that we’ve hung around town in the past.
We also watched a 20 minute video titled “A Fresh Look at Stuttering”  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKAneLSrAkA), which spawned some good conversations about stuttering, the impact it has had in our lives, and how much or how little it shapes who we are and what we do.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, Feb 21th at 5:30pm.  Please see our Facebook page for more information – https://www.facebook.com/NSAduluth/
