Hi Friends!

Terry and I would like to thank all those who attended our meeting on Tuesday. The way we can all relate to one persons struggles never ceases to amaze us. At tonight’s meeting we didn’t follow what was written on our agenda, we just talked. It was the best meeting we have had in a while! One of our members discussed the daily frustrations his job presents and the affect it has taken on him. For instance, when overhearing a political conversation at work, our member wanted to jump in and voice his opinion. However, because he stutters, he didn’t think that what he had to say would be taken seriously. Thus, he didn’t join in. Situations like this have presented themselves throughout the lives of both Terry and I. One thing that we noted was the feeling we had when we chose to be silent compared to the feeling we had when we spoke out. For us, speaking out and letting our voices be heard always resulted in a more positive feeling than staying silent. What truly matters is how the situation looks to you, not to anyone else. Terry and I challenged our members to change the way they may have handled these types of situations in the past. Instead of hiding, speak your mind. We plan to discuss the outcomes of what happened at our next meeting and how each of us felt during these situations. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday December 1st at 7PM in Passan Hall at Misericordia University. We hope you can make it!

Have a great week!

Kyle and Terry
