Hello All!

The first of December marks the first of two monthly meetings of the
Northeast Chapter of the NSA at Misericordia. This week, we kept it
spontaneous — really spontaneous. Chris, one of our members expressed
a desire to pursue “psuedo-stuttering,” that is, advertising, or
openly stuttering in a way that’s intentional, more proactively. “I’ve
been practicing it at work but something keeps holding me back,” he
said, citing fears of being uncomfortable or making his listeners
uneasy. He brought up the idea of after the meeting going out to local
places and practicing there, then Kyle chimed in and suggested they’d
do it now, not later, which they did. The group visited Weis, Walgreens
and CVS, supporting Chris’ efforts in practicing his
pseudo-stuttering. It was a good experience for everyone, including
the store employees involved. Enlightening, educational and
eye-opening, the group took away that it’s not always going to be
easy, but you have to be persistent. See you next meeting.
